Yes, the sunset is stunning. I'll try and get a good spot and settle down for the duration on one of my remaining evenings. The hotel has its own prime viewing spots so that you don't have to mix with the masses :-) This is obviously a step up from most of the places I have been staying!
Not yet. Although I'm almost tempted to book a star gazing tour here. Truth or Consequences is supposedly good for dark skies but it clouded over while I was there. Maybe I can stay up later now that the body clock has adjusted - although it gets dark at a reasonable time here as I discovered that Arizona doesn't go in for daylight saving. The joys of hopping between time zones...
Good to see that the Crater site gives a discount to you Mexican older folk.
Haha, had to reread it to spot the typo. I shall now edit it so that you comment makes no sense :-)
Very nice sunset photos. Hope you have recovered from your close encounter?

Yes, managed to avoid the probe!
Have you managed any astro photography via the magic of your Pixel, or have you been getting an early night?

Also, I assume you have one of these, as it's a Kickstarter AND reccomended by The Woz?

I haven't. I have one of those bulky tripods, but this looks cool
Do it. We went to Kielder observatory and saw the rings of Saturn! Who knows Uranus may be visible 😊
